Tugboat Pulse 20000 review at a glance
The Pulse 20000 is the high-capacity model in the Tugboat range, listed for more than four times the puffs of the Tugboat Evo 4500. It is draw-activated, uses a mesh coil and adds an indicator for battery and e-liquid. The listing describes it as ergonomic and portable, with no complicated settings. Browse the Tugboat hub for the rest of the range.
Tugboat Pulse 20000 review: specs as listed
The product page lists up to 20,000 puffs, a high-capacity pre-filled tank (the millilitre figure is not published), a rechargeable battery with Type-C charging, 50mg (5%) nicotine, a mesh coil and dry-hit prevention. Anything not on the page, such as battery mAh, is left out here rather than guessed. The puff figure is the maker rating, not a measured result.
Battery and display
The listing says the integrated indicator shows battery and e-liquid levels in real time, which helps you know when to recharge. The e-liquid is pre-filled and cannot be refilled.

Flavours: what the listing says
Seven flavours are named: Cool Mint, Purple Rain, Strawberry Kiwi, Strawberry Mango, Kiwi Passion Fruit, Mango Passion Fruit and Sweet Melon Mango. The descriptions come from the listing text, not our tasting notes. Check the product page for what is in stock.
Design and how to use it
Activation is by drawing, with no button. The page describes an ergonomic, portable design. If you are new to high-nicotine disposables, read our nicotine strength guide first.
Value for money
At AED 45 for up to 20,000 puffs, the listed cost works out to about 0.23 fils per puff (AED 45 divided by 20,000), much lower per puff than a small disposable.
Pulse 20000 versus Lost Mary BM15000
Against the Lost Mary BM15000 the Pulse lists 5,000 more puffs (20,000 against 15,000) for AED 10 more, and the cost per puff works out almost the same at about 0.23 fils. The Pulse has a battery and e-liquid indicator and dry-hit prevention but a single mode and 7 flavours, while the BM15000 lists dual mode and 15 flavours. Choose on the extra puffs or the extra flavours, not on price per puff.
Compared with other high-capacity devices
Compare it with the other disposables in our high-puff disposable vapes guide and the 50,000 puff guide if you want an even longer-lasting device.
Tugboat Pulse 20000 review verdict: who it suits
It suits adult users who already use nicotine and want a long-lasting rechargeable disposable at a strong 50mg strength. Anyone preferring a lower strength should look at the 20mg Tugboat Evo 4500 or read the zero-nicotine and low-nicotine guide.
Who should look elsewhere
If you want to refill and reuse a device, a pod system is the better fit.
