Running it day to day
Higher output uses the battery faster, so a 2800mAh cell does not last as long at 100W as at lower settings. The stepless airflow slider lets you open or close the draw to suit the power you choose. Charge it over USB Type-C with a suitable cable and keep spare pods or coils on hand.
Value for money
At AED 150 the Luxe XR Max 2 is AED 15 above the Luxe XR Max, for 20W more output and a colour screen.
Luxe XR Max 2 versus Luxe XR Max
Both kits list the same 2800mAh battery and 5ml pod, so the upgrade is about output and the screen. The Max 2 raises the ceiling from 80W to 100W, a 25 percent increase, and swaps the 0.54-inch OLED with touch buttons for a 0.96-inch colour TFT screen. It costs AED 15 more, about 11 percent on top of AED 135. If you rarely vape near the top of the power range, the cheaper Luxe XR Max may be enough.
