How to choose a compact disposable
- Puff count. Under 10,000 puffs means a smaller tank and a lighter body. The count is a manufacturer figure, not a promise.
- Nicotine strength. Most devices here list 20mg. The IGET Bar 3500 lists 50mg, which is above 20mg/mL, so UAE.S 5030:2018 applies and we do not describe it as compliant. One option, the Flerbar 3500, lists 0%.
- Rechargeable or not. Several compact models are single-use with no charging, such as the Tugboat Mini 2000. Check the listing.
- Price per puff. Divide the price by the listed puffs to compare, keeping in mind that the puff figure is only a guide.
Price per 1,000 puffs
Dividing each listed price by its listed puffs gives a rough value guide. The Fummo King 6000 and PURA 6000 work out lowest at about AED 5.80 per 1,000 puffs, followed by the Tugboat Evo at about AED 6.70 and the Yuoto Thanos 5000 at AED 7. The Flerbar 3500 is about AED 10, the Yuoto XXL AED 12 and the IGET Bar 3500 about AED 12.90. The 1,500 puff devices cost the most per puff, from about AED 13.30 for the Yuoto starter kit to AED 23.30 for the Myle Mini Box, but they are also the cheapest to try. Puff counts are manufacturer figures, so treat this as a guide, not a measure of real use.
Under AED 35 versus AED 35 and over
Four devices are listed under AED 35: the Yuoto starter kit at AED 20, and the ISGO Paris, Yuoto XXL and Tugboat Evo at AED 30. Most of the rest sit at AED 35, and the IGET Bar 3500 is the dearest at AED 45.
Smallest devices
The Myle Mini Box, the ISGO Paris and the Yuoto starter kit each list 1,500 puffs and are the lightest options.
Mid-size budget options
