Founder & Product Specialist, Vaps Shop (vapsshop.com)
Ismail Hossain started Vaps Shop so that adult vapers in Dubai and the wider UAE would have a straightforward, legitimate place to buy: genuine stock from authorised distributors, prices that are what they say they are, and a real person to ask before you order. He runs the catalogue himself – choosing which of the store’s 90+ brands to carry, checking devices and e-liquids before they go on sale, and writing or reviewing every product review published on this site.
What Ismail covers
- Disposable vapes – real-world puff performance versus the number on the box, flavour accuracy, and build quality across brands such as Elf Bar, Vozol, Yuoto and FUMMO.
- Pod systems and refillables – which pods and coils actually fit which devices, battery life in daily use, and when a refillable beats a disposable on cost.
- E-liquids and nicotine strength – nicotine salts versus freebase, choosing an mg level, and PG/VG ratios for different devices.
- Buying legally in the UAE – the 21+ rule under Federal Law No. 15 of 2009 (Vaps Shop applies a stricter 21+ policy), the 20 mg/ml nicotine cap and UAE.S 5030:2018 registration standard, and how to tell registered stock from grey-market imports.
How reviews on this site are written
- Every review is based on the product as sold here, checked against the manufacturer’s published specifications and the UAE registration standard – not written from a brand’s marketing copy.
- Weak points are stated plainly. A product that underdelivers on puffs, flavour or battery is described that way.
- Disclosure: Vaps Shop sells the products it reviews. That commercial connection is stated on the reviews themselves, so nothing here should be mistaken for independent third-party testing.
- Reviews carry a date and are updated when a price, spec, nicotine strength or stock status changes.
- Ismail is a retailer and product specialist, not a doctor. Nothing on this site claims that vaping is a medical treatment, a way to stop smoking, or safe. See the Responsible Vaping & Health Disclaimer.
